JERUSALEM (JTA) — An Iron Dome anti-missile system battery was installed in metropolitan Tel Aviv.
The system, which was installed Thursday, is expected to remain in place for several days as it calibrates itself to the area.
The battery previously was installed in Sderot, Ashkelon and Ashdod.
Israel and the United States will hold Austere Challenge 12, a joint ballistic missiles exercise, at the end of October.
