Regarding women’s reproductive rights, Blu Greenberg is wrong when she states that “although Republicans are making loud noises on this … I don’t think anyone could roll back the rights” (“Election Stirring Passions Among Women,” Sept. 14).
If Mitt Romney gets into office, he can appoint Supreme Court judges who can and will try to overturn Roe v. Wade. Although Romney has stated more liberal views in the past, he has shown that he is now beholden to the most extreme right-wing factions in the United States, and he will be continue to be forced to sublimate his own views to theirs.
