JERUSALEM (JTA) — Palestinians rioted in a village in the northern West Bank after an undercover Israeli army unit was exposed.

The soldiers used crowd-control methods, including tear gas, to quell Tuesday’s riot. Palestinian youths threw rocks and bottles at the soldiers.

Three Israeli soldiers and 30 Palestinian rioters were injured, and 100 rioters required medical attention after inhaling tear gas in the confrontation.

The soldiers were disguised as vegetable vendors and waiting to arrest members of a terror cell, according to reports.
