Ron Jeremy, one of America’s top 50 porn stars of all time, is recovering in the hospital after an LA hospital performed surgery following an aneurysm near his heart, the Associated Press reports.
After having a heavy feeling in his chest, the 59-year-old former Jewish porn star drove himself to the hospital yesterday where he was diagnosed with an aneurysm and placed in intensive care.
As of last night, his agent told the AP they were still waiting for him to wake up after his procedure.
Jeremy is best known for his roles in over 2,000 adult films during his some thirty-year porn career as a director and actor. Although he’s officially retired, he appears every now and then in films today.
His management team has since took to twitter to update fans on his status, tweeting, “Please keep Ron in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. – (Management) #PrayForRon.”
Updated: According to TMZ, Jeremy will stay in the hospital for the next two weeks, in order to have his heart monitored…
