JERUSALEM (JTA) — The Syrian military reportedly shot down an Israeli drone near the Syria-Lebanon border.
The Syrian news website Damas Post quoted eyewitnesses Wednesday evening as saying they saw the drone fall out of the sky into eastern Lebanon, the Times of Israel reported.
Israeli warplanes held several overflights in southern Lebanon earlier in the day, according to the Times of Israel, citing the Lebanese government news agency.
