Though the Beth Din of America and the Rabbinical Council of America have suspended the membership of Rabbi Michael Broyde following revelations that he used at least one false identity over the years to correspond with scholarly journals and another rabbinic group, Broyde — a Jewish ethicist and law professor at Emory University — has his defenders. So far, 12 of them.
