The Creve Coeur, Mo. edition of Patch, the hyperlocal news site, gets a national (Jewish) scoop:
Joe Biden helps “patch” things up for a Jewish Federations of North America staffer, David Feinman, who was late to a birthday dinner with his girlfriend (and native of the St. Louis suburb, which translates as “heartbreak”) Stephanie Levy because he was attending a Jewish American Heritage Month reception.
Apparently, “Hey Stephanie, happy birthday, wish you were here, happy birthday kid,” goes a long way:
“This takes the cake as the coolest and most heartfelt thing he’s ever done. I think I’ll keep him around,” Levy said.
