JERUSALEM (JTA) — Four Israelis were injured, one seriously, in a car-ramming attack in the northern West Bank.
The three lightly to moderately wounded men in the Thursday afternoon attack near the settlement of Beit Aryeh were identified by the Israeli media as soldiers.
The attacking vehicle, reported to be a black Izuzu, fled the scene after running over the victims. It reportedly was found abandoned several hours later, though the driver was not located. An M16 rifle and a stun grenade were found in the vehicle, according to reports.
The injured men were evacuated to a hospital in the central Israeli city of Petach Tikvah.
Beit Aryeh is located about 16 miles east of Tel Aviv.
