Every year, as our seder is about to begin, I quote a rabbinic comment or another Passover writing.
This year I began with two items from your April 7 edition: the Editorial (“The Thrill Of A Seder”) and Rabbi Wolpe’s Musings (“An Open Door To Love”). They were both very well received by our guests.
They enjoyed the Editorial, and all laughed out loud at the suggestion that the “Wicked Child this year is the guest who first introduces politics or the mundane into the seder conversation.” We did not discuss politics.
My wife and I always read Rabbi Wolpe’s Musings, and we found this one very touching and appropriate for our seder.
