The sin of inaction against gun violence was well characterized in Andres Spokoiny’s excellent Opinion piece, “A Month After Las Vegas” (Nov. 10).
Beyond fine words and good analyses, I call on The Jewish Week and other media to engage legitimate security experts to make concrete proposals.
How strange I am so grateful for the police presence at synagogues, schools, theaters, shopping malls and public areas, where my fear of a massacre is so real and so justified.
The election of a “tough” president has not changed this. Media focused on solutions, instead of accusations, could help find answers.
