Jonathan Mark’s column concerning the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution and the tyranny of the Communist rulers was right on target (“100 Candles For The Russian Revolution,” Dec. 15).
As one who taught refugees from the Communist tyranny in the ’70s through the ’90s in the New York City high school system and was active in the Soviet Jewry movement, I can truly appreciate Mark’s detailed analysis of the historical events cited in his column.
I wish him continued success for his continued work on behalf of our people.
