Serbian authorities nixed a planned rally by a local neo-Nazi group.

Serbia’s National Front had planned to hold a “March for Serb Unity” in Novi Sad on October 7, the birthday of Nazi mastermind Heinrich Himmler. But Serbian police banned the event citing “public morals and public safety”.

Belgrade had received complaints from international Jewish groups about the neo-Nazis’ plans. Serbia has a small but growing far-right political movement.
