(JTA) — Yemeni authorities arrested a man they say is a Muslim extremist in the murder of a Jewish man.
The Associated Press quoted officials as saying that Moshe Yaish Nahari was gunned down Thursday in Riydah, a town in the country’s north where most of Yemen’s remaining 400 Jews reside.
It also quoted a friend as saying that Nahari, 39, did not know his killer.
