Palestinian women attempt soldier stabbings

JERUSALEM (JTA) — Three Palestinian women have been arrested in two separate attempts to stab Israeli soldiers.

One of the women approached an army checkpoint near Ramallah Thursday while brandishing a knife at soldiers, Ynet reported.

The same day, another woman threw a knife at soldiers at the security checkpoint at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron after it was discovered in her possession as she tried to enter. A young girl with her also was carrying a knife.

On Wednesday, a Palestinian man attempting to enter the Cave of the Patriarchs was discovered to be carrying a knife.
