Whatever else you think, casting Natalie Portman’s as Thor’s girlfriend has this as a plus: Richard Wagner has gotta be doing the tomb twist.
UPDATE: A reader informs us that Wagner did not use the name "Thor" in his operas; he favored the German "Donner" in the Ring. Same god, according to Wikipedia.
