We’re pulling the Mearsheimer debate challenge because John Mearsheimer tells us he’s still planning on a debate with AJC’s David Harris.
Which is fine. We started this because Mearsheimer made (what appeared to us) the unfounded accusation that Harris was bailing.
I outlined in the above post why I thought I could do a better job, but that was pretty much tongue in cheek (although my challenge was serious). Harris — and Abe Foxman, for that matter — are more than able to take on Mearsheimer and his co-author, Steve Walt.
We look forward to it.
