(JTA) — The son of a Chabad rabbi and another Jewish New Yorker were killed in a traffic accident on their way home from a wedding.

Avrohom Liberow, 10, and Pesha Azoulay, 20, were killed Wednesday in a highway accident near Pittsburgh. Lieberow’s father, Rabbi Zalman Liberow, sustained major injuries in the crash. They reportedly were returning to New York from a wedding in Michigan.

Liebrow’s wife and other children suffered minor injuries, according to media reports.

State police said the crash occurred just before 10 p.m., when a car and a tractor trailer crossed over the median in icy conditions.
