It’s not an Oscar but for his work in the final part of the “Harry Potter” series, Daniel Radcliffe has been voted “Choice Summer Movie Star (Male)” at the Teen Choice Awards.

These awards, which come in surfboard form, are not exactly handed out on the basis of emotionally layered, nuanced performances. After all, the same voters chose Cory Monteith of “Glee” as “Choice TV Actor (Comedy).”

But if none of these nominated thespians are likely to sit down with James Lipton to discuss craft anytime soon, at least the Teen Choice Awards recognizes something other than acting and talent — kissing.

Our favorite Jewish wizard also won “Choice Movie Liplock” with costar Emma Watson, beating out another Brit (and former Harry Potter actor) Robert Pattinson of “Twilight” fame.
