JERUSALEM (JTA) — The Israel Air Force struck what it called "terror activity sites" in Gaza in response to rockets fired on southern Israel.

The Israel Defense Forces said it hit the two sites, one in southern Gaza and one in central Gaza, overnight Saturday after rockets fired from Gaza struck the northwest Negev. No injuries were reported in the rocket attack on the northwest Negev.

Two Israelis were killed and residential areas in southern Israel were damaged last month in rocket attacks that emanated from Gaza.
