Isrotel’s Royal Beach Tel Aviv Hotel: A New Standard In Luxury

When Isrotel’s Royal Beach Tel Aviv Hotel opens this summer, the bustling seaside city’s hotel industry will be getting a jolt of five-star luxury.

The 23-story, 230-room facility, which is located at the southern end of Tel Aviv’s glistening hotel row, adjacent to the colorful beachfront promenade, is the first major hotel to be built in the city since 1999.

“When you enter the hotel’s spectacular lobby on Yarkon Street, you’ll feel as if New York has arrived in Tel Aviv,” said the Royal Beach Tel Aviv’s general manager, Mickey Schneider.

As dozens of workers were scampering about putting the finishing touches on each area of the hotel, Schneider acted like a director on the set of a Hollywood movie — he shouted out instructions to the workers to ensure that everything was dealt with in a meticulous manner, whether it was the floor in the lobby bar, the wiring in the chef’s restaurant or the unique lighting in each guest room.

“Isrotel has created a unique hotel experience in Tel Aviv,” Schneider continued. “When you enter The Royal Beach, you will not be entering the ‘traditional’ hotel, which has been the norm in Tel Aviv for years, “Schneider said. “The hotel will be an integral part of Isrotel’s ‘Exclusive Collection’ of upscale lifestyle-branded hotels, where there is a supreme emphasis on providing high standards of service and one-of-a-kind hospitality. In this respect, Isrotel has been way ahead of the curve for many years.”

When the Royal Beach went from drawing board to reality, Isrotel commissioned top architects and designers from Israel and Europe, including renowned German architect/designer Harald Klein, who has designed some of the finest hotels across Europe. Thus, it’s not an uncommon daily scene for Tel Avivans and tourists to stop and stare at the majestic glass-enclosed facility. The hotel accentuates modern exterior design and interior décor throughout, highlighted by the lavish lobby entrance, the chic outdoor pool, first-class indoor health club and spa, the swanky oceanfront Executive Business Lounge on the 18th and 19th floors, as well as the plush European-accented rooms and suites.

“One of the huge advantages of this hotel is that the Royal Beach can be marketed as both a business-oriented hotel or a resort facility because it’s located on the beach,” said Schneider. “You can easily mix business and pleasure.”

In many ways, the Royal Beach will be a business traveler’s paradise, with a state-of-the-art Executive Business Lounge. It also features two bars, one of which will be adjacent to the hotel’s exclusive chef’s gourmet “open kitchen.” At the end of the workday, business travelers will be invited to enjoy a soothing massage in the hotel’s elegant spa, whose staff members have worked at Isrotel’s world-renowned Carmel Forest Spa near Haifa.

The Royal Beach will also offer enticing vacation packages to families, organizations and VIPs. The hotel features 11 different types of rooms and spacious suites with spectacular views of the beach, as well as the Tel Aviv skyline. It has also created a private VIP/celebrity section, where a whole floor has been designed to accommodate an entourage, including large suites and a breathtaking living room/cocktail area, which faces the ocean.

Schneider predicted that the Royal Beach will be an instant success. “Tel Aviv has been lauded in the international media as one of the most innovative and exciting places to visit,” he said. “Thus, Isrotel’s Royal Beach Tel Aviv is destined to become the hottest hotel is the city.”
