The buzz about the latest “Game of Thrones” episode has prompted a curious question:
Which chapter of the Old Testament most closely resembles an episode of “Game of Thrones?”
“I’d like to nominate this as the most Game of Thrones-y perek in Tanach,” former JTA intern Akiva Weisinger said of Samuel II, Chapter 3 on Facebook. “Though there are certainly other contenders.”
I’d nominate Chapter 13.
Then again, I’d also share some spoilers about episode 9, but for a colleague who somehow hasn’t seen it yet.
