Last week’s print edition of The Jewish Week published an uncorrected first draft of my Opinion piece, “Why Pressure On Chief Rabbinate Will Only Increase.”
The version of the essay meant for publication — and appearing on the website — distinguishes between my personal views and the consensus position of the group assembled by the AJC. Unfortunately, the version that appeared in print implies that other participants in the AJC gathering share my analysis, which may or may not be the case.
