While enjoying your article, “Orthodox Influx Remaking Marine Park” (May 1), I found a glaring omission.
The Kingsway Jewish Center is an active Zionist, Modern Orthodox synagogue that has been serving the Marine Park/Madison community for more than 86 years. It has children’s groups, adult ed programs, a gym, a pool, Bikkur Cholim, woman’s learning, etc.).
We just had a well-attended Israeli Independence Day celebration, and our annual blood drive. So we invite all in the area, or those thinking of moving to the area, to check us out. We are alive and flourishing.
