Four Palestinians suffocated in recent days during smuggling operations on the Egypt-Gaza Strip border.
Two died Sunday inside a tunnel and two died last Thursday when another tunnel collapsed, according to media reports.
The tunnels have been used to smuggle arms and contraband into Gaza. Under Israeli and United States pressure, Egypt has in recent months stepped up efforts to stop the smuggling.
