Up to four Israelis who were in Christchurch, New Zealand remain missing and are feared dead.

An Israeli backpacker is believed to be among the dead, and the destruction in the city of Christchurch on New Zealand’s South Island included the city’s Chabad house. Another synagogue in the city reportedly suffered damage but was not destroyed.
