Police, other NYC officials meet with Bukharians about rash of arsons

At a meeting in Forest Hills, a neighborhood that has experienced seven arsons since October, officials promised heightened security measures.

Seven fires, the most recent set Sunday, have targeted new homes under construction for Bukharian Jewish owners.

The fires set over the past month in a heavily Jewish Queens neighborhood have damaged homes owned by Bukharan Jews.
