French Jewish community rips plan to honor Arafat

A French Jewish community is protesting plans to name a public square for the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.

Suha Arafat, the widow of Yasser Arafat, said she tried to leave him “hundreds of times, but he wouldn’t let me.”

Yasser Arafat planned the second intifada, his widow said in a television interview.
