In the course of the important monarchist trial being conducted here, an interesting incident occurred. When the well-known anti-Semite Ruge was called as a witness and was about to tell of an attack that had been planned on the Frankfort Synagogue he was stopped by the Chief Justice as this would be the “divulging of military secrets.”
