Nathan Hirsch, formerly Chairman of the Mayor’s Committee on rent profiteering, resigned yesterday from the Real Estate Owners’ Association as a protest against its “ironclad lease”, which Samuel Untermyer has agreed to fight in the courts as counsel for the Federation of Tenants’ Associations.
