Berthold Timendorder, prominent Jewish community worker and who for many years presided over the Grand Lodge for Germany of the Independent Order B’nai Brith was the recipient of many congratulations on the occasion of his 70th birthday, which occurred last week.
Herr Timendorfer was for some time a member also of the executive of the Jewish community of Berlin as well as of the executive of the “Hilfsverein der Deutschen Juden”. He was also president of the German branch of the Alliance Israelite.
