An English edition of "Los Hebroes on Marruecos" (History of the Jews of Morocco) may be soon prepared. The author of the original Spanish work is Senor Don Manuel L. Ortega.

A number of very interesting facts relating to Jews of Morocco are disclosed in the book, among which is the story of a Jew who became Sultan of the country.

The volume also reveals the fact that Jews were among the first settlers along the Spanish Mediterraenean coast. Coins dating back to the early settlement there which combine Hebrew and Phoenician words are adduced in support of this contention.
