Harden’s Assaitant Given Six Years

The trial of Anckermann, the assailant of Maximilian Harden, Germany’s foremost publicist, closed today. Anckermann was sentenced to six years in prison.

Harden, in a letter to the foreman of the jury which was to try Anckermann, refused to come to court to prosecute the charge, declaring that he had no confidence in the court, stating: “There

is no justice in Germany.”
