Special Jewish elections are demanded in an editorial which appeared today in the Wilna conservative daily “Glos.” The Glos maintains that if the Jews are permitted special elections the Orthodox element, which is in the majority and which is more favorable to the policies of the State, would carry the elections, while on the other hand, if special elections were not instituted the Jews would join with all other minorities as they did at the elections last year, electing a large number of deputies.
