The possibility of a duel between General Korfanty and Siegmund Bosel, prominent Jew of Vienna and reputed to be the richest man in Austria, has provided Warsaw with a new sensation. General Korfanty has characterized as harmful to Poland the activities of Bosel, who is a huge shareholder in the Silesian industries. Korfanty, as is well known here, became extremely wealthy through association with Bosel’s enterprises. Bosel, it will be recalled, a few weeks ago, underwrote the budget of the University of Vienna.
