The Ministry of the Interior has issued an order enforcing stricter supervision with regard to the issue to women and girls of passports for proceeding abroad. Women and girls who apply for passports will have to submit a written statement, signed by the parents or legal guardians, declaring their purpose in leaving the country. Proof will have to be produced from relatives or prospective employers in the country of immigration. If the girl is a minor, the Immigration Office will have to be satisfied as to the person under whose protection she is travelling. In the event of any suspicion as to the correctness of the statements and documents supplied, a secret, thorough investigation will be carried out. Strict supervision is to be exercised also with regard to women and girls arring in any town in Poland and staying in hotels or furnished rooms.
