A. F. of L. and the Jewish Refugees

Mr. B. Rozman writing in the Forward (Nov. 1,) says:

“The most important news this week in reference to Jewish immigration is the decision of the Executive Committee of the American Federation of Labor to help pass a resolution in Congress providing that those Jewish refugees who have been stranded in various European ports be admitted to the United States in spite of the quota law.

“The A. F. of L. has great influence in this country regarding the immigration question and it is to be hoped it will succeed in having Congress adopt the resolution.”
