Percentage of Jewish Population Recorded by German Statistician

Interesting figures with regard to the percentage of the Jewish population in various countries are contained in a new book by Dr. Julius Rotholz just issued under the title, “Deutschen Juden im Zahl und Bild.”

According to the statistics given in the book, the Jews in France constitute .4% of the population; in Great Britain, .7%; in Belgium, .9%; in European Russia, 2.8%; in German Austria, 4.5%; in Turkey, 4.5%; in Hungary, 6.3%; in Poland, 12.5%. In Siberia they constitute .5% of the population, in Syria, 1%; in Palestine, 11%; in Argentine, 1.2%; in the United States, 3%; in Algiers, 1.3% in Morocco, 3%; in Australia, .3%; and in Germany less than 1%.
