Lithuanian Jew to Fulfill Country’s Embassy Duties

The Lithuanian embassy in Washington will be abolished, according to a decision of a Sejm commission which is inquiring into possibilities of cutting the foreign service budget of the Lithuanian government.

The commission decided that Henry Rabinowitz, the Lithuanian Consul General in New York City, will assume the duties of the embassy at Washington.
