Samuel Untermyer, well known New York attorney and president of the American branch of the Keren Hayesod, arrived here Sunday afternoon by airplane from Cairo. In the evening a reception was given in his honor by Col. Frederick H. Kisch of the Zionist Executive. Mr. Untermyer also made a flying visit to Haifa and is expected to return to Cairo tomorrow.

The Jerusalem correspondent of the “New York Times” reports that while in Jerusalem Mr. Untermyer announced a subscription of $100,000 for the Hebrew University.

At the dedication of the Hebrew University on April 1, 1925, Mr. Untermyer announced that he would contribute funds for the building of a stadium in memory of his wife.
