Rabbis throughout the world were asked to urge their communities to purchase Palestine baked matzos in an appeal issued by Rabbi A. J. Kook, Chief Rabbi of Palestine.

The appeal refers particularly to the matzos of the Grand Moulins, the Baron de Rothschild plant at Haifa.

Palestine baked matzos are strictly kosher and their manufacture provides for hundreds of workmen, Rabbi Kook declared in his appeal.
