Jewish Woman Furthers Big British Film Combine

Mrs. Davis, a Jewish woman and owner of the largest cinema in Europe, was one of the chief promoters of a large amalgamation in the British film industry just effected here.

The Gaumont British Film Corporation was formed here with a capital of two and a half million pounds. Among the directors are Captain Alfred Davis, son of Mrs. Davis, and Messrs, Woolf and Rowson.

Mrs. Davis owns several cinemas besides the Shepherds Bush Pavillion, the largest in Europe.
