Painting of Hebrew University Opening is Presented to King George

A painting of the opening of the Hebrew University on Mount Scopus, which took place on April 1, 1924, with the participation of Lord Balfour, was presented to King George at Buckingham Palace on Saturday.

The painting is the work of the Jewish artist, Pilichowsky. The presentation to the royal family was made in the Coronation Hall of the Palace. The King and the royal family expressed appreciation of the painting, which was taken from the Palace to the Whitechapel Art Gallery for exhibition. After the exhibition the painting will be taken to the United States.
