Castor oil, the weapon tried by the Italian Fascists on their Socialist and Communist opponents, was employed by Palestine Communists against a nationalist opponent.
The police was informed yesterday of a case in which Moses, a student of the Hebrew gymnasium of Tel Aviv, was forced by Tel Aviv Communists to drink a large quantity of castor oil. This was the punishment meted out to him because he revealed the secrets of their propaganda in the gymnasium and in other schools. The student’s condition is considered grave by physicians.
