League Committee, in Conference, Considers Question of Refugees’

Jewish organizations were represented at the International Conference of the Committee on Refugees Aid which is meeting here under the auspices of the League of Nations. Lucien Wolf, representing Anglo-Jewish organizations and Zvi Aberson, representing European organizations, were among the delegates. Three new Jewish organizations were admitted to membership on the Committee.

The Committee took up the legal aspects of the question of aid to Armenian and Jewish refugees as well as the problem of extending the protection of the League of Nations to the Statenlose, men without a country, domiciled in European states.

These questions were taken up on the basis of a report submitted by Dr. Aberson.

Mme. Rosika Schwimmer, writer and pacifist, celebrated her fifteenth birthday yesterday.

Mme. Sehwimmer received a ## manial letter signed by her co-workers during the World War which includes many prominent writers.

Dr. Jacob Grossman, former rabbi of Temple Beth-El, Brooklyn, was installed as rabbi of Temple Gates of Prayer, Flushing, N. Y., Sunday evening.
