Col. Leopold H. Amery, British Colonial Secretary, in reply to a question in the House of Commons decalred today that “the sensational reports concerning Ibn Saud’s holy war are unduly alarming. There is no evidence that Ibn Saud is responsible for the recent raids,” he stated.

Magistrate Barnet Gluckman has been elected chairman of the United Palestine Appeal campaign to start in Wilmington, Del., on March 25. Other officers elected are: First vice-president, Willam H. Sayers; second vice-president, E. Victor Topkis; treasurer, Max Cohen. Max Darevski was appointed to act with the chairman in the organization of teams. Wilmington’s quota is $25,000.
