Vilna, Jewish Town, Says Lithuanian Premier

The Lithuanian Prime Minister, Professor Valdemaras, in the course of an interview with the Kovno representative of the “Baltic Press.” speaking of the future of Vilna, ### answer to a question whether he regarded Vilna as a Polish town, “No. Vilna is not Polish. Unfortunately, it is not Lithuanian either. It is a Jewish town.”

Work on the construction of the new house of worship of the Conversation Temple Both-El of Waterbury will be started within the next few weeks, according to the present plans. The new building will be of ### brick with stone trimmings and will be surmounted by a large copper covered dome.

Harry E. Schwartz is rabbi of the temple. The members of the building committee are J. K. Jennes. Charies Rosengarten. Charles Walzer. Martin Greenblat. Adolph Sanditz, ### N. Albert. Max Oser and Morris Ko###.
