No Jews. Victims of Attacks by Raiding Bandits (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
Order has been established in the region of the Ica colonies, where a group of wandering bandits attacked the settlers. No Jews were victims of the attack. Four colonists and two soldiers were killed.
In the combat between the bandits and the military expedition sent to quell the disorder, a German, an Italian, a Brazilian and a Polish colonist were killed. Two members of the expedition also fell. The bandits retreated into the forests.
