One of the irritating problems which affected the normal functioning of the Hebrew educational system in Palestine was solved today by an arrangement concluded by the Zionist Executive with the Keren Hayesod, Palestine Foundation Fund.
By the arrangement all arrears in salaries of the Hebrew teachers and officials, due since 1927, will be fully paid up within the next fortnight. The situation created by the non-payment of the salaries often caused interruptions in the school work leading to threats of strikes.
