Court proceedings have been instituted against a Jewish student, Adreas David, on the ground that he posed as a non-Jew and thus graduated in order to avoid the numerus clausus regulations. According to the results of an investigation carried on by the court, it is stated that David bribed an official who arranged that he should be converted to Christianity by proxy.
In his defense, David claims that he was unaware of any irregularities and believed his graduation carried through.
