Bialik Operated On; is Resting Well

Chaim Nachman Bialik, famous Hebrew poet, of Tel Aviv, Palestine, underwent an operation at noon today at the Franzis Hospital for the removal of gall stones.

Geheimrat Professor Casper, the well known surgeon, performed the operation. In a statement issued, Professor Casper declared that the patient was resting well and that he will require attention at the hospital for ten days. Bialik is fifty-six years of age.
